Panasonic HC-VX870K 4K Workflow with Avid Media Composer

"I just bought a Panasonic HC-VX870K 4K compatible camera. I shot some footage the other day and have had trouble importing that into Media Composer 8.3. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem - perhaps I need a plug-in? A detailed step by step would be greatly appreciated."

Converting Panasonic HC-VX870K 4K footage to Avid Media Composer compatible video

Step 1. Launch the 4K file converter and click add button to import Panasonic 4k clips to the program for converting.



Step 2. Click "Format" bar to select Avid Media Composer->Avid DNxHD(*.mov) as output format.
